Philosophy

Don't just pass through. Leave a milestone.

Some places only make sense after you have been. Dấu Mốc keeps them with your real location, not a staged photo.

Rider's Passport

Every place you reach is a page in your Passport.

Provinces, mountain passes and border markers you reach are stamped on the spot. Your stamps become a passport of your own, with a Vietnam map colored by the places you have been.

  • A map colored by every province you have reached.
  • A Places visited list, so you can look back at each stop.
  • A shareable card exported as an image, with GPS stamps only.

A Rider's Passport is not an identity document.

GPS Verification

Ridden for real. Verified by GPS.

Tap Stamp and the app checks that you are really at the place. In the right place, you get the stamp. In the wrong place, you do not. There is no self-claim button, so every milestone means you were really there.

GPS stamp

Stamped on the spot. It goes into your Passport and can appear on public shareable cards.

Photo stamp

Forgot GPS? Use a photo you took on the spot. If it matches the place, you still get a stamp. It stays in your Passport, not on public shareable cards.

Routes

One route, one leg at a time.

Start a route and the app follows your position along it with GPS, telling you how far it is to the next highlight. Every route has legs, highlights and road warnings reported by riders before you.

FAQ

Common questions.

Cannot find your question? Email us.

What is Dấu Mốc?

Dấu Mốc is the Rider's Passport built for long-distance motorcycle travelers in Vietnam. Every province, mountain pass, or border marker you reach is stamped on the spot with GPS verification. Your stamps build a personal passport with a Vietnam map colored by the places you have truly ridden.

What is a Rider's Passport?

A Rider's Passport is a personal ledger of the places an adventurer has physically reached, much like how a real passport is stamped at border crossings. On Dấu Mốc, every stamp is checked by GPS so it cannot be self-claimed. It is not a government-issued identity or travel document.

How do I join the Public Beta?

Public Beta on Google Play: Coming soon. Once it opens, the download button on this page will light up.

Is there an iPhone (iOS) version?

Not yet. Dấu Mốc is launching on Android first to focus on perfecting the on-road stamping and journey recording experience; iOS will follow.

How does GPS Stamping work?

Tap Stamp and the app checks that you are really at the place. If you are there, you get the stamp. There is no self-claim button.

What if I forgot to stamp on the spot?

Yes. Pick a photo you took on the spot. If it matches the place, you get a photo stamp. It stays in your personal Passport, and public shareable cards only show on-site GPS stamps.

Is my live location exposed to others?

No. Others only see the Stamps and Journeys you explicitly choose to share. Your detailed route, your email, and your date of birth stay visible only to you.

How can I sign in?

With Email & password, Google, or Facebook. You can link or unlink sign-in methods anytime under Security settings.
